The Prophet Isaiah was one of the most articulate proponents of social justice as the core social and religious duty of the Jewish nation. Through his brilliant poetry and incisive prose, he communicates his compelling vision of a better world that informed religious thinking across all three Abrahamic religions. In fact, one cannot form a clear picture of the Christian message without studying Isaiah, aka, “The Fifth Gospel.”
