More than almost anything else, the Sabbath is the defining institution of ancient and modern-day Judaism. We look at this unique holiday, and its place in Judaism. This episode also examines the various law in the Torah used to look after the welfare of the poor and the needy, and how they served not only to assist those in need but tried to address the root causes of economic inequality.
